Book Babies Halloween
Scott Bahlmann
Created for a special holiday program.
I only did these one year, because I think it's better for the little kids to have something they know than to have something themed.
Baby Hop from the CD Diaper Gym
Snuggle up together, babies in your lap.
Snuggle up together. Clap, Clap, Clap!
Snuggle up together, don't you nap.
Snuggle up together. Tap, Tap, Tap!
You're working out together, baby don't stop!
You're working out together. Hop, Hop, Hop!
(repeat first two verses)
Now our song is over, get ready to stop.
Now our song is over, so Hop, Hop, Hop!
The Little White Ghost
Boo Boo went the little white ghost one night,
Boo Boo went the little white ghost.
Boo Boo went the little white ghost one night,
and his arms went
Wiggle wiggle wiggle.
Hee Hee went the little green witch one night...
and her nose went
twitch, twitch, twitch.
Meow Meow went the little black cat one night...
and her eyes went
blink, blink, blink.
Grin Grin went the little Jack o’ lantern one night...
And it’s mouth went
Grin, grin, grin.
Itsy Bitsy Spider
The itsy-bitsy spider went up the water spout,
Down came the rain and washed the spider out!
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,
And the itsy-bitsy spider went up the spout
Bats
When the moon comes up,
Out come the bats.
They move their wings
like this and that
(sway baby side to side)
They swoop down low
to eat their dinner,
(sit baby down)
Then fly up high
where the air is thinner.
(lift into the air)
They sleep all day,
(hands together under head)
and they play all nights,
(tickle baby’s tummy)
But you hardly ever see them—
They’re always out of sight!
(cover eyes)
Scary Eyes
See my great big scary eyes,
(Ring around your eyes with your hands)
Look out now for a big surprise...
(remove hands)
BOO!
A Haunting We Will Go
(Tune: A Hunting We Will Go)
Oh, a haunting we will go,
A haunting we will go,
We'll catch a ghost,
And put him on a post
And never let him go.
(Repeat with other creatures: Witch - Ditch, Cat - Hat, Monster - Dumpter)
The Floppy Scarecrow
The Floppy, floppy scarecrow
Guards his fields all day.
He waves his floppy, floppy hands
To scare the crows away!
(Repeat adding arms, toes, head, legs, etc)
