Book Babies Christmas

Scott Bahlmann

This was created as a special program for the holidays.

Baby Hop from the CD Diaper Gym

Snuggle up together, babies in your lap.
Snuggle up together. Clap, Clap, Clap!
Snuggle up together, don't you nap.
Snuggle up together. Tap, Tap, Tap!
You're working out together, baby don't stop!
You're working out together. Hop, Hop, Hop!
(repeat first two verses)
Now our song is over, get ready to stop.
Now our song is over, so Hop, Hop, Hop!

Making a Snowman

Roll a snowball round and round,
(roll hands)
Round and round upon the ground.
Make one, make two,
here’s what you do,
(make fists, and stack them)
And you can build a snowman too.

A Star For My Little Tree
(tune- Partridge in a Pear Tree)

On the first day of Christmas
my mother gave to me
One star for my little tree

(Continue with
two strings of lights...three silver bells...four candy canes...five glass balls.)

Christmas Cheer

Let’s all do a little clapping,
Let’s all do a little clapping,
Let’s all do a little clapping
And spread Christmas cheer!

(repeat with jumping, spinning, etc.)

Here is the chimney

Here is the chimney
(make fist wrapped around thumb)
Here is the top.
(Place palm over fist)
Open the lid
(remove top hand)
And out Santa will pop!
(pop up thumb)

8 Little Reindeer

Eight little reindeer
pulling Santa’s sled
One jumped too high
and bumped his head.
The elves called Santa and Santa said,
“Can Seven little reindeer pull my sled?”

(Continue with decreasing numbers.)

End with  and Santa said,
“Call Rudolph!”

Once There Was A Snowman

Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman
Once there was a snowman
Tall, tall, tall!
(stretch up high)
In the sun he melted,
melted, melted
In the sun he melted,
small, small, small.
(sink to ground)

Then we play Personal Penguin by Sandra Boynton while we blow bubbles from our bubble machine.
